How did my levels get low in the first place?
A fact of getting older, testosterone declines as men age. During puberty, testosterone levels are at a lifetime peak and these levels begin to decline in the early to mid 20’s. As they drop a man is said to be in andropause.
The effects of environmental pollutants including petrochemicals from insecticides can cause the pituitary to slow prematurely and can damage testosterone-producing cells in the testicles. As environmental pollution rises it is more common for us to see clients in their mid to early thirties with low levels of testosterone.
Pre-existing medical conditions are also related to low Testosterone levels. If you have one of the following conditions we recommend getting your testosterone levels checked.
- Diabetes – diabetics are twice as likely as nondiabetics to have low testosterone
- Obesity – Obese men are twice as likely to develop low testosterone levels
- High blood pressure
- High cholesterol
- Asthma/Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
How long before I see results?
Depending on your current levels of testosterone and overall health, symptoms can start to improve in as few as 15 minutes or in a few weeks. We recommend practicing a healthy and active lifestyle as well as testosterone therapy. On a program like this your life can be transformed in as little as 6-8 weeks.
Is Testosterone Replacement Therapy safe?
When done correctly, and under medical supervision, replacing testosterone is very safe. We monitor symptoms, blood levels, and use hormones that the body recognizes, or bio-identical hormones, to limit unwanted side effects.
What type of Testosterone do you use?
We only use FDA approved bio-identical testosterone and testosterone cypionate.
How is it administered?
We prefer to administer the medication by intramuscluar injection to the quad, gluteal or deltoid muscle yet there is the option of topical cream.
How often do you administer the injections?
Injections are scheduled every 7-14 days depending on your symptoms, levels and the doctor’s prescription.

Depending on the individualized programs recommended by the doctors the prices will vary.
What insurance providers do you accept?
The office does not accept medical insurance because we do not believe insurance companies should control your healthcare, you and your doctors should. We can however provide you with the necessary paperwork to file with your insurance company.

Office forms including a health history questionnaire are to be filled out. Next labs will be drawn to determine your total testosterone level, free testosterone and PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen). Then a doctor will review your medical history and perform a thorough physical exam.

Your initial visit takes about 30 minutes.
