Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement for Women
Millions of women in the United States are suffering from imbalances of their hormones, whether it is early menopause, peri-menopausal symptoms, polycystic ovarian syndrome, sluggish thyroids, weight gain, adrenal fatigue, or premenstrual syndrome (PMS). In many cases, balancing the hormones includes some form of bio-identical hormone therapy.
What hormones are we talking about?
Most often: Estrogen, Progesterone, Testosterone, Thyroid and Cortisol.
What does Estrogen do?
Estrogen is vital to the body and helps a woman maintain:
- Sex drive and sexual function
- Bone strength
- Mood and energy
- Normal sleep patterns
- Healthy weight
How do I know if my hormones are out of balance?
Do you have any of these symptoms?

If you have any of the above symptoms your hormones are most likely to blame.

- Increase energy
- Improve mood
- Weight Loss

- Improve mental clarity and memory
- Improve sleep
- Improved zest for life

How did my levels get low in the first place?
Hormonally and physically speaking, your body peaks around the age of 25. After that, your body produces fewer hormones. This decline over time results in the effects of aging that we generally see in people. Chronic stress, environmental toxins, poor diet and lack of physical activity can also add to the imbalance.
The effects of environmental pollutants including petrochemicals from insecticides can cause the pituitary to slow prematurely and can damage hormone balance. As environmental pollution rises it is more common for us to see clients in their mid to early thirties with hormone imbalances.
How long before I see results?
Symptoms will start to improve in as few as 2 to 14 days. We recommend practicing a healthy and active lifestyle in addition to therapy. On a program like this your life can be transformed in as little as 4-6 weeks.
Is Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy safe?
When done correctly, and under medical supervision, replacing the levels that your body used to naturally make is very safe when using bio-identical forms. We use as close to possible bio-identical natural hormones, i.e. hormones identical to the hormones produced naturally by the body, as opposed to conjugated hormones which are found in Premarin and recently found to cause many complications including some cancers, heart disease and stroke.
What type of Hormones do you use?
We use only FDA approved hormones, compounded individually for you by pharmacists.
How is it administered?
Depending on your levels and preference, we use creams and/or pills.
How often do you take it?
Administration depends on your symptoms, individual levels and the doctor’s prescription.
